If an LDAP schema marks an LDAP attribute as multi-valued, it means that the attribute is not restricted to have just a single value and may have more values added to it.
LDAP Administrator provides several ways to add a value to an attribute:
To add a new value to an existing attribute:
Select an attribute, to which you'd like to add a value.
Do one of the following:
Click New on the Standard toolbar.
Select New from the attribute's context menu, and then click New Attribute Value.

To add new values to an attribute:
Select entries, to which you'd like to add attribute values.
Click the Add/Modify Attribute button on the Entry toolbar or select the same command from the context menu.

To add new values to several attributes:
Select entries, to which you'd like to add attributes values.
Click the Multiple Modifications button on the Entry toolbar or select the same command from the context menu.
