The Groups and Members dialog provides centralized and unified representation of members and groups for a current server profile. Unlike other group and member wizards offered by the application, the Groups and Members dialog is not context sensitive and displays all the groups and members found in your DIT.
With the Groups and Members dialog, you can:
Get a list of groups and members available for the current server profile;
View properties for a particular group or member;
Locate a group or member in the Scope Pane;
Reset password for a group or member;
Enable or disable a group or member account;
Add or remove group members;
Manage dynamic group membership;
Configure group and member settings;
To launch the Groups and Members dialog, click the Display All Groups And Members button from the Entry toolbar.
After the Groups and Members dialog has been opened, it starts background fetching of information on groups and members from the server to eventually display results becoming available. As soon as the first bit of data arrives, you can start viewing and editing group and member settings. Besides, you can toggle the fetching process state by clicking the Pause/Resume button.
